Pastor Fredy Aviles was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico. He spent his childhood years and at the age 13 with his parents he emigrated to the United States of America. He grew up in a home with biblical and grounded knowledge in Christianity.
He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 11 and began to serve him since. Later on finishing high school, he joined the Bible College based in New York, where he earned an associate's degree in Ministerial Affairs. Next, he joined the Ministry Theological Center in Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor in Ministries. After that, he earned his Master of Religious Education degree from the Eastern Baptist Seminary in Philadelphia. He continued his studies earning his doctorate in Philosophy, Apology and Theology at Liberty University in Virginia.
Currently Pastor Fredy Aviles and his wife Yolanda, are the pastors of Centro de Vida in the city of West Palm Beach, Florida, covering churches in Central and South America and the United States. Pastor Fredy is part of the board of the Association of Pastors of West Palm Beach. Pastor Fredy is also a teacher, writer and broadcaster. He is the founder and president of the Universidad Luz y Vida, headquartered in West Palm Beach and in New Jersey. The mission of Pastor Fredy, along with his congregation, is to impact lives, not only in the state of Florida, but in all nations of the earth, establishing principles of the kingdom, sowing the seed of the gospel and having as motto what Mark 16:15 says "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
Yolanda Aviles was born in 1965 in Yumbo Valle del Cauca, Colombia. She lived there until the age of 19 when she moved to the United States of America where she studied in Community College of Philadelphia and DPT Business School in the field of Business Administration. Yolanda Aviles together with her husband, Dr. Fredy Aviles, pastors Centro De Vida in the city of West Palm Beach, Florida since it was founded in 2008. She oversees different ministries in Centro De Vida, on a volunteer full time basis with joy and passion. Yolanda is a vital part of the Universidad Luz y Vida. She serves as the University Administrator since 2011.
